Liu Runqiu is an author name found in the Chinese book market, but publicly available information about this author is limited: nationality, dates of birth and death, and educational background are not clearly recorded. According to library holdings, two works appear under this name, namely Little Hands and Little Hands + The Republic of Light, usually classified under foreign literature, which suggests that the author's writing and translation activities are broadly concerned with overseas literature. Little Hands is the more representative of the two, while the other entry appears as a combined volume pairing Little Hands with The Republic of Light. Based on the available bibliographic information alone, it is difficult to sketch the author's full creative trajectory or stylistic features, or to confirm the original language, first publication dates, and literary reception of the works. Readers may approach these works within the framework of foreign literature, attending to the thematic orientation and narrative style presented in the texts themselves, and revisit the picture as more material becomes available.
