Erqi is a Chinese online literature author about whom limited public information is available. At present, only one work by this author can be confirmed in the database, namely Goodnight, Mr. Ling. The work is categorized as time-travel alternate history, suggesting that the author tends to build non-realistic settings through time-travel premises and to develop character relationships and plot progression within an alternate world. Based on the available information, Erqi is still at a stage with a small number of works, and readers know little about the author's life, nationality, or creative career, making it difficult to form a complete author profile. As for Goodnight, Mr. Ling, the title carries a gentle tone of address, and together with the time-travel alternate-history genre, it hints that the work may deal with emotions and characters' fates within a framework of temporal and spatial shifts. Due to the lack of more verifiable material, judgments about the author's writing style and influence can only be based on this single work and should not be overextended. It is hoped that more works by this author will appear so that readers and researchers can further understand the author's creative profile.
