Qiao Lei was born in Tangshan, Hebei, in 1985. She graduated from Nanjing Normal University with a degree in Japanese-English bilingual studies and is a member of the Jiangsu Translators Association. Having lived and worked in Japan, she has developed a deep understanding of Japanese literature and culture. The library currently holds three of her works, spanning mystery and detective fiction, medicine, and foreign literature. They include translations of The Villain of the Prosecutor's Office and The Reason Not to Break Up, as well as Fitness Exercises and Stroke Rehabilitation.
