Qimiao Yu is a Chinese online author whose personal information has not been publicly disclosed; available public material is limited, and her nationality, dates of birth and death, and English name are unknown. Judging from the two works included in the database, Yiyi and Secretly Hiding in Your Arms, her writing concentrates on modern romance. The titles are light and playful, carrying a distinct urban-emotional and sweet-romance flavor. Although there are only two works, they already begin to reveal her preference for everyday, breezy storytelling: grounded in scenes close to contemporary readers' lives, she depicts the emotional flow between protagonists with delicate and lively strokes, in a brisk rhythm and gentle atmosphere. For readers who enjoy light, sweet romance and care about character interaction and emotional detail, Qimiao Yu is a name worth noticing. Because public information is limited, her writing experience and future direction still await more works and details.
