029

029 (Oniku) is a Japanese illustrator based in Tokyo (Kanto region) who works mainly on novel illustrations. Publicly available information is limited, and personal biographical details have not been widely disclosed, but the published works offer a general sense of their creative output. Representative works include Hataraku Maou-sama! and Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de, and they served as character designer and illustrator for the light novel Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear (written by Kumanano). Several volumes of that series have been published, with seven related titles held in the library, including individual volumes and box sets. Their illustrations often accompany lighthearted everyday and fantasy stories, with distinctive characters and a cute, lively style that has gained recognition among light novel readers. The works are commonly categorized under social sciences and foreign literature, suggesting that in the Chinese book market they are placed within light reading and genre fiction.
